In an effort to put my own spin on the design, I did a quick paint-over to break from strict parallel lines and pulled in some art nouveau inspired details.

Just one pebble scattered, randomly rotated and scaled. Scattering and simulation done in Houdini. Rock layout was based off a megascans rock scan.

Rocks were textured individually, as shown below to allow for re-use and clean baking. All uv islands on the assembly are moved over 1 uv space temporarily in Painter.
